I'm Omar, a Data Scientist based in Chicago.

I shoot both digital and film, focusing on wildlife, street, and astrophotography. Recently, I’ve really enjoyed branching out when my friend and co-president Izzi asked me to shoot their engagement.

Film is also where I do most of my teaching. I lead workshops on developing and printing, taking photographers from an exposed roll to a finished print.

I've led two photography communities: The Glass Eye Ball at the University of Chicago and the Rensselaer Photography Club in Troy, NY. My favorite trip each year is the Adirondack Balloon Festival in Glens Falls, NY.
